Wellington’s star-studded comedy event is just around the corner, over 12 international and local comedians will unite to launch a liberation of laughter at the Opera House!
First Laughs, marks the first night of the 2010 NZ International Comedy Festival in the capital, the home of the country’s governing bodies. First Laughs isn’t a political party – it’s the party to kick start a season of laughs from acclaimed international and local comedic talents.
Hosted by 7 Days/@Seven hooligan Ben Hurley, the likes of Dai Henwood, Steve Wrigley and last year’s Billy T Award winner Chris Brain are just a few of the local comedians.
Meanwhile, compatriots from around the world lend their support in this comedy alliance. Ex-pat Jarred Christmas (NZ/UK) returns, bringing with him Edinburgh Fringe favourites Jason Cook (UK), Zoe Lyons (UK) and legendary country singer Wilson Dixon (USA).
